The name Blue Devils originated in 1920 by

Brain Tumor Alliance Fundraiser

The Shenandoah Valley Quarterback Club conducted a fundraiser
in which they sold “Pink Out” T shirts to raise money to benefit the
Brain Tumor Alliance. The event was held to honor the memory of
Krystal Lombardo of Shenandoah who succumbed to this dreaded
illness. The group also conducted a 5K Run that was supported by
various local businesses. Should anyone wish to make a
contribution they are asked to visit the Brain Tumor Alliance
website and click on “event Shenandoah” or calling Desiree
Dunleavy, sister of Krystal Lombardo, at 570-462-0821. Making a
presentation of a check for $700 on behalf of the Quarterback Club
are members of the football team (L-R); Riley Miller, Clarence
Grutza, Desiree Dunleavy, Jamie Cugusi, and Ian McCole.
